Graduate school

Welcome to SVALI Graduate School  

SVALI Graduate School is a Nordic interdisciplinary graduate school in cryosphere science and Earth Systems Modelling (ESM), with the main focus on glaciology.

Our objective is to educate a new generation of scientists, with a focus on ESM and related process studies in the polar areas. We will provide joint PhD courses ; summer schools, workshops and crossborder integration of PhD projects and PostDoc activities within the SVALI framework.

We also support SVALI students financially in terms of mobility and participating relevant courses within the framework.

The Graduate School is managed by the University of Oslo.
