WP 6: Outreach and dissemination

Objectives

• Disseminate the outcomes of SVALI.
  
• Provide a platform for communication about SVALI activities.
  
• Attract the attention of the public and in particular of students towards cryospheric research.  

Background

The output of SVALI will be of interest to a number of different audiences including the scientific community, policy and decision makers, the educational system and children, and the general public. With this in mind the SVALI outreach activity will be based on a variety of different means including a website, NCoE leaflet, educational material and activities, popular summaries of the SVALI results, press releases and tentatively a travelling exhibition.
