Markus Engelhardt

Markus is working as a post-doc at the University of Oslo and involved in the project “Water Related Effects of Changes in Glacier Mass Balance and River Runoff in Western Himalaya, India: Past, Present and Future (GLACINDIA)”. The aim is to investigate the role of Himalayan glaciers in a changing climate to improve predictions in the response of glacier mass balances and associated runoff.
During his PhD study he was modeling surface mass balance and associated meltwater discharge of Norwegian glaciers. Take a look at his PhD thesis here.
